Early Bird registration prices available until October 23. After that date registrations must be made on site for an additional fee of $25. Awards Dinner will not be included in on-site registrations. Any cancellations must also be made by October 23, and will require a $25 cancellation fee.

"Get smART"

The theme for CAEA Fall Conference 2013 focuses on SMART teaching including Science, Math, Art, Reading and Technology. How can we integrate Arts into school curriculum, and the School curriculum into the art classroom? We will offer professional development to art educators, including arts integration, advocacy tools, pedagogy, special needs, and integration of the new state standards and how to assess students using the state standards.

We will have over 130 inclusive workshops and offer 12 specialized Master classes with an additional fee. Keynote speakers will include Ken Vieth, author of art education literature such as "The Visual Experience" and "From Ordinary to Extraordinary". Also presenting Charles Parson and Wanda Knight. We have over 20 Vendors available to share their knowledge and products. Saturday evenings Awards Banquet will honor Colorado Art Educators of the Year, to be be followed by the Saturday Night Bash with a 007 theme of Casino Royale.

After the 23rd you will have to register on-site at the conference in Breckenridge.

*additional $25 fee for onsite registration, dinner not included. No Master Class registration on-site.

Please view the available Master Classes so that you know what choices you would like to make. There will not be Master Class descriptions in the Registration Process. Master Classes are the ONLY classes that may be Pre-Registered for. We request that you register for no more than two Master Classes.
