"Where ART Comes From"

How does ART affect your life? All workshops related to art and it's origins, how can we use it to change how we think, feel, and create. How can we modify our lessons for all levels of learning? We welcome presenters from all disciplines and encourage art therapists and psychologists to submit this year. Lessons are open to all media and forms including performing arts. As always we are interested in workshops related to the standards and assessments. All workshops related to the arts are welcome, share your knowledge! Acceptance of lesson plans is not judged by relevance to the theme.
We will offer professional development to art educators,  including arts integration, advocacy tools, pedagogy, special needs, and integration of the new state standards and how to assess students using the state standards.

We will have over 130 inclusive workshops and offer 10 specialized Master classes with an additional fee. Keynote speakers will include National Geographics explorer of the year Shannon Galpin, Ellen Dissanayake, author of "What is art for?" and Art Therapist Anya Bebee.  We have over 20 Vendors available to share their knowledge and products. Saturday evenings Awards Banquet will honor Colorado Art Educators of the Year, to be be followed by the Saturday Night Arts Celebration Mascarade.

Earn CDE credit by attending.
