The CAEA Traveling Art Show brings contemporary art exhibits to several towns and communities in Colorado. It is created to be shown in galleries, coffee houses, bars, eating establishments, courthouses, community centers, schools, or where ever artwork can be accommodated in a community.
If you care to participate your work must be completed, finished and delivered to Michael Cellan or Robin Wolfe at the 2019 CAEA Conference registration desk, at Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge by 3:00pm, November 9, 2019.
Our First show will be in the Hatfield Gallery at Adams State University in Alamosa, Co.
The show will run November 12 - December 14 with the opening beginning at 6pm on November 15, 2019.
To be a curator for your community your responsibility is to find a place to show the work, hang the show for a month, tell the community about it, and take it down, repack the show in the boxes provided, and ship them back to me or to the next curator. You will be reimbursed for your shipping costs. The boxes will contain the works, a list of the artists and their prices, name tags, a placard describing the show, and other stuff.
